Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Postage (UK)

We offer multiple delivery options which are dependent on the weight of items ordered. Our principal carrier is Royal Mail and generally items will be dispatched via this method. You can choose between First and Second class Packetpost, or our Standard delivery method. Costs are as follows:

Second Class 

        First Class 
0-250g £2.50         0-250g £3.00
251-1000g £3.00         251-1000g £3.50
          1001-2000g £4.50

 

If your order weighs more than this then choose our Standard delivery method. This is charged at £5.95 whatever the weight of your order and will be dispatched via Royal Mail first class, MyHermes, Collect+ or Citylink.** Delivery will normally be within 4-5 working days. On the rare occasion that there are stock issues, delivery will take longer but we will advise you of any delays.

We can only deliver to the address given at the time of the order. If you would like us to request your item be left with a neighbour or another nominated person then please email us detailing where when ordering.  If you are out at the time of delivery then Royal Mail will leave you a note detailing their attempt at delivery and you will have to collect your package from your local sorting office. Any orders refused on delivery, or orders returned to us due to incorrect address details will incur a redelivery/return fee.


Overseas Orders

We now deliver outside of the UK. We offer a choice of three delivery methods. Smaller orders, weighing below 2kg, will be dispatched via Royal Mail. Choose from either standard Airmail, or for extra reassurance and added security choose Airsure. Our European customers can also choose DHL Europlus courier service for orders weighing between 2kg and 25kg. We deliver to all EU member states, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Croatia, Turkey, America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Delivery charges will vary. They are dependent on location, the method chosen and the weight of an order. Our free delivery offer is not open to persons outside the United Kingdom. Deliverys should take 10-14 working days to arrive, however, this is just a guideline and orders may take longer, particularly to countries outside of Europe.

A guide to costs for persons within Europe are as follows:

An order weighing 0-250g is £4.95 via Airmail.
An order weighing 250g-1kg is £7.95 via Airmail.
An order weighing 1kg-2kg is £11.95 via Airmail.
An order weighing 2kg-25kg is between £24.99-£34.99 via European Courier Service.

For those living in countries outside of Europe the costs are as follows:

An order weighing 0-250g is £6.95 via Airmail.
An order weighing 250g-1kg is £9.95 via Airmail.
An order weighing 1kg-2kg is £16.95 via Airmail.

Returns & Replacements

If you are not happy with any of our products, please email us at info@home4eco.com. It would be helpful if you could please quote your name, contact details and order number. Please give full details of the problem and depending on the nature of the problem, we may either arrange for a replacement or provide a refund.

Items returned within the seven-day cooling off period

By law, customers located in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the seven working day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item and the cost of sending the item to you as follows:

Where you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, we'll refund the per-item charge for delivery that you incurred.
Where we collect an item from you, we reserve the right to recover the costs of collection from you.

We will not refund your costs in returning the item to us and other services provided to you in connection with your purchase unless you return the item to us because of an error on our part or because it is defective.

Items returned within 28 day returns guarantee period

Where you are withdrawing from your purchase between seven and 28 days after delivery and there has been no error on our part, we will refund only the cost of the item. We will not refund the cost of delivery or other services provided to you in connection with your purchase.

Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the seven working day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item and the cost of sending the item to you as follows:

Unless products are faulty they must be returned in a resaleable condition, in their original packaging within 28 days of receipt of the item. Postage needs to be paid by you on any returns.

If the product is faulty then we will refund your return postage costs after we confirm that the product is in fact defective.

We reserve the right to charge a re-stocking fee on any non-faulty returns. This fee will be charged at 20% of the value of any item and is dependent on the condition of any return. Please obtain a certificate of postage from the Post Office when sending any item, this is free of charge.

Please note that we cannot accept returns if you deliver them to us by hand.

Products under warranty or guarantee

We will either refund or replace any product that proves to be defective within the life of it's guarantee. If we are unable to replace a defective product directly then we will provide you with the necessary information to claim directly from the manufacturer. We are unable to offer refunds on any products after 60 days have passed, this is non-negotiable. In the event that your product breaks after 60 days have passed, but still within it's guarantee, then a replacement or repair service will be provided. These services are provided directly by the manufacturer as we do not have the facilitites to process repairs. You will be liable for the postage costs on any return outside of our standard returns window.
